I'm on win 7 and it's C:\Users\MyName\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods, not in the game folder but Documents. ooh, maybe I've found the problem. I think my mistake was that I put my mods folder in the steamapps folder. I'll now try to put them in the folder the way you did brb.
